THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION WITH SOME REMOTE FLEXIBILITY. CASA SERVES ALL OF MONTEREY COUNTY. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL WORK IN THE OFFICE IN SALINAS, CALIFORNIA.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Executive Director of CASA of Monterey County is a trustworthy, organized, and caring leader responsible for advancing CASA’s mission: to recruit, train, and support community volunteers who advocate for children and youth in foster care and the juvenile justice system. This accomplished executive ensures programmatic excellence, operational integrity, and strong community partnerships, serving as the organization’s primary spokesperson and ambassador. Duties include ensuring advocacy programs operate in compliance with state and local laws, supervising all operational and financial matters, directing talent acquisition and HR functions, and building and maintaining partnerships with the community, key stakeholders, funders, volunteers, and donors. The Executive Director is a dynamic partner with the Board of Directors.

LOCATION:
Salinas, CA.

SALARY/BENEFITS
Salary: $180,000 - $225,000
Benefits:
Vacation: Three weeks
Sick: Six days
Holidays: Eight days, plus the week between Christmas and New Years
403B: 2% organization contribution subject to adjustments
Health/Dental/Vision – 100% coverage paid by CASA
Coverage begins on the first day of the month after the first full month of employment
Life Insurance – 100% paid by CASA
Additional self-pay insurance products are available
Professional Development stipend – up to $10,000 in the first year based on skill development needs and with board approval
Remote Work: In-office with some remote flexibility
